Veba President Ernie Vettese, founded Veba in 2003 and created a company with a mission ìto provide consumers with a technically superior sport and medical sock at a competitive price. We met a very important objective by bringing this Canadian made product to market with a "fair value proposition" for our customers and dealer partners.
Veba products have continued to evolve and now include 4th and even 5th generation design improvements. Each activity specific sock design is based on extensive research into the specific needs of the sock application. And Veba socks are continually tested by our Medical advisory board, athletes (professional and amateur), media product review experts and consumers, young and old.
Our packaging is designed to educate the consumer about features and benefits that will enable them to distinguish a good quality sock from an ordinary sock so that they can make an informed decision. We know that Veba benefits from an educated customer and we will strive to improve the overall performance and foot health of the consumer.
We are proud to be Canadian and still manufacture in Canada, unlike many of our competitors who have acquiesced to manufacturing in China and other parts of Asia. But Veba has expanded and we now manufacture some of our products in the US. The decision to do so was strongly influenced by the desire to reduce shipping costs and reduce our carbon footprint on the environment. Many of our dealer partners applauded our strategic decision to invest in a North American manufacturing model and we appreciate their support.
Most importantly we appreciate the support of the thousands and thousands of loyal consumers who purchase Veba socks everyday and write to us to share their stories of "more life" as one customer wrote through better foot health.
The antimicrobial material of this sock and its features combine to create a very high level of blister protection. The seamless toe
and full cushion toe bed ensure that no irritation
or pressure will be applied to the toes.
